About the EarningsIQ Research Desk
Last updated: October 16, 2026
The EarningsIQ Research Desk is the EarningsIQ team that produces our instant alerts: short news articles about insider trades, fund 13F filings, congressional stock trades and analyst rating changes.
What we do
We watch public filings as they come out and publish an article for each notable one. Each article says who traded, what they bought or sold, how much, and when, then adds context on the company: its recent price, earnings, other insider and fund activity, and what analysts think.
Our goal is simple: make public filings fast and easy to read, and always link back to the original record so you can check it.
How we work
- Public records only. SEC Form 4 and 13F-HR filings, House and Senate STOCK Act disclosures, and public analyst ratings.
- Numbers come from the filing. Headlines and the summary at the top of each article are built by code from the filing's own fields.
- AI-assisted writing. The longer article is drafted by an AI model that is only given the filing and market data, then run through automated checks. People do not edit each article before it goes live.
- No advice. We report what was disclosed. We never tell you to buy, sell or hold a stock.
Full details are in our methodology and disclosures.
Corrections
If a number in an article does not match the filing, the filing is right. Email legal@checkearningsiq.com with the article link and we will correct it.
